Mt Eyak Ski Area operates a 1939 American Steel and Wire single chairlift on Mt. Eyak above the town of Cordova, Alaska. Offering Alpine Skiing and Snowboarding with a beginner hill and rope tow. The Base elevation is 400 feet (122 meters) rising to 1200 feet at the top of the single lift for a vertical drop of 800 feet. The annual snowfall is 350" (889 cm). With approxiately 30 different trail options including a new easy trail down the hill, the area offers somthing for everyone! The mountain offers 20% Easy, 60% More difficult and 20% Most Difficult trail ratings. Trail ratings indicate the relative difficulty of the runs within the given ski area and are not meant to be used for comparison between ski areas. Hours of operation vary due to sunlight hours.
